Ms. Whitehead received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University and practiced as a registered nurse in nephrology, cardiology, transplant, and emergency nursing for over 15 years. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina, in 2022 and 2023 respectively. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has lived in Lexington, SC, for over 25 years, where she has served as a volunteer nurse at the Dickerson Children's Center and Mission of Hope Ministries.
